Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information our apps collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. Our apps are designed to run locally on your device, without accounts, analytics, or unnecessary data collection. Some apps can optionally back up or sync your data through your own private iCloud account, which we cannot access.

Low Effort Apps ("we", "us", or "our") designs, releases, and operates the following mobile applications:

Information We Collect

iCloud Backup

Task(ed)

Task(ed) stores your data locally on your device and backs it up to your own private iCloud account so it survives reinstalls and device changes.

  • Your data is stored in your private iCloud, not on our servers
  • We have no access to your iCloud data and cannot read it
  • Apple handles iCloud storage under Apple's Privacy Policy
  • You can disable iCloud for the app anytime in iOS Settings → iCloud
  • We do not collect, track, or share any of this data

iCloud Sync

EveryPaw

EveryPaw keeps your data in sync across your own devices using your private iCloud account, so the same information is available wherever you're signed in.

  • Data syncs only between your own devices via your private iCloud
  • Your data is stored in your private iCloud, not on our servers
  • We have no access to your iCloud data and cannot read it
  • Apple handles iCloud storage under Apple's Privacy Policy
  • You can disable iCloud sync anytime in iOS Settings → iCloud

iCloud Backup & Camera

AisleWise

AisleWise stores your lists, trips, and settings locally and backs them up to your own private iCloud account. It also uses your camera to scan barcodes and receipts.

  • Your data is stored in your private iCloud, not on our servers
  • We have no access to your iCloud data and cannot read it
  • Receipt scanning is processed entirely on your device — receipt images are never uploaded
  • Scanning a barcode sends only that barcode number to the Open Food Facts product database to look up the item; no personal information is sent with it
  • You can disable iCloud for the app anytime in iOS Settings → iCloud, and revoke camera access in iOS Settings → Privacy

How Your Information Is Used

Your data is used solely to make the apps work for you. Task(ed), EveryPaw, and AisleWise use your private iCloud only to back up or sync your own data. None of this data is used for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Data Storage & Retention

App data is stored locally on your device. For apps with iCloud backup or sync enabled (Task(ed), EveryPaw, and AisleWise), a copy is also kept in your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple. Your data remains until you modify it, delete the app, or remove it from iCloud. We keep no copies on our own servers.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our apps are safe for use without parental consent under COPPA and similar laws.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or disclose personal information to third parties for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes.

Our apps use no analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. The main third-party service involved is Apple iCloud, which some apps use to store data in your own private iCloud account on your behalf. We have no access to that data; Apple handles it under Apple's Privacy Policy. AisleWise additionally queries the Open Food Facts product database when you scan a barcode, sending only the scanned barcode number so it can return the product's name and details.

Your Choices

Turn off iCloud backup or sync for Task(ed), EveryPaw, or AisleWise anytime in iOS Settings → iCloud. Delete app data anytime by deleting the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes take effect once posted here.
